Les Kings was my graduate collection and it aimed to reflect on the history of the LGBTQIA+ community; from the Georgian Molly’s in influencing elements such as the collars and cuffs; to the excesses of 80’s & 90’s Club Kids shown through fabric choices.
Les Kings was designed specifically for a collection of Drag Kings and a Bio Queen, considering their individual styles and characters.
The collection was created to be an extravagant, queer, bold and beautiful celebration of LGBTQIA+ people and as a reflection of the creative and diverse culture we are fortunate to live in.
